Krzysztof is an enterpreneur, I lost a track what he is currently
doing. Could be real estate or something.
He is a devoted vinyl lover and collector. He once sold all his CD's
and started collecting vinyl. After few years when he discovered a CD
player with tubes - he decided to give CD a second try. And started
buying CDs again. What a determination.
K. has a "proper" setup in his wonderland - the listening basement. He
has something like top of the line Lowther speakers with Verdier top
turntable (magnetic suspension). But he wanted a second system for the
studio. I offered some help.
First - he bought my Revox B226S CD player with lampizator. He loves it
actually MORE than the fulcrum dac/transport combo from Tube Technology.
I agree - the Revox with tubes is sans pareil.
Next - he brought his own good old Verdier 845 monos - It started to
look already interesting. Also cables are not bad at all - Audio
Note AN-SPZ speaker wires.
So I had to provide really nice speakers.
Thats what we agreed to and now it plays in his studio:
