Safe investment in Lampizator
I
have been a part of
ever frustrated group of constantly upgrading audiophiles for over 20
years and I spent sick amounts of money for things that were loosing 70
% of value the minute I bought them. They were A) not musical and B)
not sellable.
Lampizator is a very safe investment. It brings a quality increase
comparable to changing the kitchen type receiver for a tube pair of
mono block
amps and the investment is safe - I mean if it is external box
type -
it can be kept forever. There will never be a device for amplification
of small signals better than this simple triode, and there will not be
a music player format better than good old CD as described elsewhere on
my page.
To put things in perspective, lampizator is cheaper than a pair
of decent cables (we usually need 3 pairs of them) or speaker stands.
And
very good CD base
units cost today 30-200 Euro on ebay. In most
cases a 60 euro Philips machine is all we need. Shall one CD die
eventually, the lampizator can be transferred to a newer one.
On the picture below you see the external lampizator which totally
REDEFINED the sound quality of the legendary Naim CDS1, a 5000 Euro
player. Compared to lampized Naim, the original stock player sounded
... well
... broken.
